ROOMS

Housing during Hava Nashira is assigned by gender. Transgender, non-binary, and otherwise genderqueer participants are given the option of whether they would like to live in spaces identified as masculine or feminine, or with other transgender or non-binary folks.

A core value of Sing Unto God is to create and maintain safe, inclusive spaces. If you are feeling worried or have questions about housing arrangements specifically, please don't hesitate to reach out to Cantor Rosalie Will.

Bed and bath linens, as well as pillows and blankets, are provided in every room, building, and cabin.

Double-Occupancy Private Rooms with Private Bath

$795 per person for double occupancy

Double-occupancy rooms contain two twin beds and private bath. (Triple occupancy is available at the double occupancy rate). If you have a roommate in mind, you will be able to request them in registration, or add someone after registration, or we will match according to the information you provide.

*There are a number of triple occupancy rooms available as well, at the same cost. If you would like to share a room with two others you will be able to add their names in registration.

There are three buildings that have these double occpancy rooms with a private bath. The SUG team will choose which building you're housed in (you cannot request a specific building below). Here are the descriptions:

Soref Center: The rooms in soref center each have two twin beds with an attached private bathroom. The private bathroom is a standard toilet and shower, no urinal.

Schaalman Lodge: The rooms in Schaalman Lodge all have one full size bed and one set of twin bunk beds. Each room has an attached private bathroom. The private bathroom is a standard toilet and shower, no urinal.

Bayit/Main House: This building is inn-style so each room varies slightly. Some rooms have two beds and an en-suite bathroom. Other rooms have two beds but share a bathroom with another room with two beds. A few rooms have single queen beds or three single beds.

Semi-Private Housing with shared bath

$715 per person for semi private housing

This housing has rooms with two beds, but a shared hallway bathroom.

Nerenberg: Nerenberg rooms each have two twin beds with one desk and two dressers. These are private rooms. The building has two public bathrooms. One bathroom has three private shower stalls (one is handicap accessible) and two toilets and two urinals. The other bathroom has three private shower stalls (one is handicap accessible) and three toilets.

Cabin

$630 per person for cabin, for the Camp Songleader Track Intensive and Hava Nashira (May 15-20)

$560 per person for cabin for Hava Nashira (May 17-20)

$300 per person for cabin for the  Camp Songleader Track Intensive ONLY (May 15-17), if unable to remain for the full conference.

Multiple bunk beds in a communal space with connected washrooms and showers in the cabin. *Many adults choose to stay in cabins as well; we house under 26 separately from over 26 year olds.

Sports Center East/West Cabins: These cabins are all winterized and are traditional bunk style housing. Each cabin has three rooms (wings). Each room has about 8-12 bunks for a total of 16-24 beds. The beds are all standard twin size. The three rooms of each cabin share two sets of bathrooms.

All cabin bathrooms have three or four toilet stalls, three or four shower stalls, and one handicap accessible shower stall that is larger size with handlebars and changing space. Each bathroom also has an extra-large toilet stall with a sealed shut door.

Some cabins have built in curtain areas for additional private space for changing within the cabins.

We anticipate only putting 8-10 people in any given room in a cabin.

Hotel

If you would prefer to not have a roommate (we do not offer Single Occupancy), you may stay in a hotel off camp.

The rate for registration (and all meals) will be $250 for the length of the conference.

We suggest the Hilton Garden Inn Oconomowoc on Pabst Farms Circle. We do not have a block, please reserve your own room. It is close to camp; we will not provide a shuttle but someone is likely to have a car to share rides, or ubers will be easy and inexpensive. If you have more questions, email Jordyn Kay.

TRAVEL

Hava Nashira attendees are responsible for arranging transportation.

We will be announcing shuttle schedules and cost from Chicago O'Hare beginning in February. If you plan to take the shuttle, please wait until the schedule is announced to book your flights so as to coordinate your travel with the shuttle departure and arrival.
