Adam serves as a Chief Operations Officer/Partner at Edge Research, a full-service marketing research company in the Washington, DC area. He specializes in social marketing and communications research, with a focus in education and nutrition. He has a 20+ year history of quantitative and qualitative research design, analysis, and implementation, including audience segmentation, message and materials development and testing, and program evaluation. He has led primary research efforts in the for-profit, nonprofit, and government sectors, building an extensive resume of providing strategic guidance and uncovering audience insights for clients including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Gates Foundation, the Aspen Institute, the National PTA, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, truth®, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and Learning Heroes. In 2012, his work with CMS garnered a Diamond SABRE Award for Superior Achievement in Measurement and Evaluation.
His passion for education also extends to his spiritual life. He currently serves as the Vice President for Education and Life-long Learning on the Board and Executive Committee at Congregation Beth El in Bethesda, MD. He also recently served as Co-Chair of the Rabbi Search Committee which brought Beth El’s newest Clergy member, Rabbi Deborah Megdal, to the congregation.
Adam received a graduate degree from the Georgetown Public Policy Institute and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His true passion is spending time with his wife and two daughters in Bethesda, MD. He also loves tennis and all things UNC!
