Hava Nashira 2023 will take place at the URJ Greene Family Camp, the regional camp of the Union for Reform Judaism in Bruceville, Texas.

Attendees are responsible for their own transportation to camp.

We are offering access to a coach bus round-trip between Dallas/Fort Worth Airport (DFW) and Greene Family Camp (GFC). The bus trip from DFW to camp is about 2 hours.

With the program scheduled to begin at 5:00pm on Sunday, May 21st, the bus will depart DFW at 1:45pm and arrive at camp around 4:00pm to give you some time to settle in. The bus will depart from GFC at 11:30am on Wednesday, May 24th.

We encourage you to book flights arriving at DFW Airport on Sunday by 12:30pm, and depart Wednesday any time after 3:30pm.

Next month, we will send out a form for you to share with us all your travel information and give you the option to opt-in to taking part in this ground transportation option. The cost will be between $80 and $100 round trip, depending on how many people sign up to partake in this ground transportation.

We will try to help coordinate alternate options for very specific unavoidable circumstances.

*If you need to arrive after the coach bus is scheduled to depart DFW on Sunday, you need to arrive extra early on Sunday into DFW, need to leave extra early on Wednesday morning, or are planning to arrive into and out of Austin but not planning to rent a car, please email Rose.

The easiest and least expensive airport to fly into  airport is Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas (DFW), a 2-hour drive from camp. The best time to arrive at the Dallas airport to be at camp in time for the program on Sunday is between 10:00am and 12:30 pm, and to depart Wednesday from DFW any time after 3:30 pm.

Additional Transit Options

The camp is also a 90-minute drive from Austin Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) in Austin, Texas. Some participants may choose to fly into Austin. You will be responsible for your own transportation from AUS.

Please understand that neither SUG nor Greene is able to coordinate transportation for participants from outside of the Dallas airport. We encourage those who are looking for rides from elsewhere or who are offering to share their ride to indicate their interest by posting in the Hava Nashira Facebook group.

If for any reason you need to cancel your registration, please do so by emailing India Richmond.
